New Book Released-The Occupiers

I just wanted everyone to know that my latest book, The Occupiers, is now available for the Kindle and other ebook readers. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The Occupiers is a fictional look at what would be possible is the current protests movements throughout the United States turned their energy toward creating a political movement in an effort to see them take over Congress, much as the Tea Party was successful in doing.

In this novelette, we follow the leadership of the new Occupy Party as they attempt to strive for the highest office in the land. Powerful forces in both of the existing parties are not happy with their efforts, and they are willing to risk it all in order to retain their ownership on the political process.

No matter what your political persuasion, this book is intended to show all of us how it is possible for a movement to develop into a means for making a difference, just as we saw in the sixties and even in recent years.

This is a fun fast read of about 6,800 words, and the storyline moves quickly. Written by the same author as Range War and Diary of a Zombie.

New Writing Project

I just wanted you guys to know that I have just started a new exciting project. I have taken a break from my usual writing fare to work on a project based on a fictional account of the Ninety Nine Movement, a look at what may be possible if they succeed in making a difference. The book is written as an observer, looking at what would happen if they were able to morph into a political movement in the future.

This project is still in the early stages, and the project may morph several times, but I wanted you to be aware of what is potentially on the horizon. The working title of this book is The Occupiers, and I hope to have to story completed by the end of the year.

Well, the second book in the Saugatuck Trilogy has just been released, and it should be available on Amazon on Friday, December 2, 2011.

In this book, Sheriff Sam Stevenson returns to face a different kind of outlaw...one with no sense of evil. This times, things are different. Not only does he need to try to keep a lid on things, but this time, the outlaw has decided to target his family. Things are different. When forced to make decision between his badge and keeping his family safe, there is no choice. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and Sam is ready to dish things up.

Along with the outlaws, Sam also has to deal with the presence of a bounty hunter that has come to town. Just what he needs at a time like this. A former lawmen trading a badge for easy money.
